OK, I get it now I've seen the datasheet. I would need to use the extra length of the legs on a new relay to stand it above the components on the flip side of the board. The alternative I guess would be cut the tracks to the bottom two pads of the relay and reverse the wiring by soldering on new connections?

Yes,

The relay has little bit higher pins so you can, it will be above components. It has also a cavity, so will cover completely the components.

Its the 12V version of the relay and not the 5V one?

you can use also other type, give me 5 minutes I will check which are good for you, so you will use it on the same layer as the former one.

No, I checked and all have the same pinout. so the solution is to severe it

will send 2-3, not a problem, the only one is that within next days we are overloaded with doing new PCBs, however I will try to find time and drive to the Post Office.
