UPiS + USB HUB

Postby bi- » Sat Nov 08, 2014 6:51 pm

Hello,

I attached an old mobile phone(Siemens S55) to my RPi's USB port, after a while completely drained the UPiS battery, causing the restart of the RPi with a clicking noise.
I realized that I would need to use an USB hub to power the phone.
Is it possible to use the RPi+UPiS with an active USB HUB?

I've tried it with an HDD, but it also drained the UPiS battery. My Hub is an active hub (Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Mobile Hub F5U701-BLK) http://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F5U701/
Does anyone know how to connect the UPiS and the hub together? May I connected them in a wrong way.

Thanks in advance.
