Measuring Current Draw

Postby Graham S » Sun Aug 20, 2017 9:53 pm

On the UPIS the i2c address 0x6A, 0x09 could be read to get the instantaneous current draw from the UPiS. The UPS PiCo uses i2c address 0x6a for a different purpose, the RTC. Is there an equivalent for the UPS PiCo?

It was really useful to be able to measure current to get an indication of battery duration and ensure that the load did not exceed specification.

That URL is for a PDF about a device series that is a range of linear thermal sensors - how is that related to knowing an I2C address for a current measurement?
